Fifth Pressing (2013)
Seventh Pressing
Eighth Pressing (July 2014)

Fourteenth Pressing (2018)
There are 9 black pressings of Goddamnit. Here are the ways to tell them apart:
| Black Cover | Clock Labels | Glossy Clocks | Non-Glossy Clocks | 180g | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

- The two 1st OG pressings were released with black covers; one with clock labels, and one with heart labels. The clock label version came with an insert, while the heart label version did not.
- The 3rd & 14th pressings are the only 180g black variants.
- The 3rd & 5th pressings are the only variants with glossy clocks on the cover.
- The 7th, 8th, 12th(?), & 13th pressings are all identical to each other, and without knowing when your version was bought, it may be hard to determine which variant you own.
White & Red/White Vinyl
First Pressing (Mar. 11th 2008)
The easiest way to tell these two pressings apart is the matrix runout:
First Pressing:
Matrix A: 74940E1/B GOD
Matrix B: 74940E2/A DAMNIT!
Second Pressing:
Matrix A: [etched] AM-160-A S-65748 [stamped] GOLDEN
Matrix B: [etched] AM-160-B S-65749 [stamped] GOLDEN
Matrix A: 74940E1/B GOD
Matrix B: 74940E2/A DAMNIT!
Second Pressing:
Matrix A: [etched] AM-160-A S-65748 [stamped] GOLDEN
Matrix B: [etched] AM-160-B S-65749 [stamped] GOLDEN
- The vinyl labels on the 1st pressing tend to be more of a matte paper, while the 2nd pressing labels are darker with a bit of gloss.
- The 2nd pressing has specks and swirls of red on most copies and looks very slightly pink.
Reddish/Brown Vinyl
Eighteenth Pressing (Mar. 1st 2022)
Eighteenth Pressing (Mar. 1st 2022)
Eighteenth Pressing (Oct. 30th 2023)
Twenty-Third Pressing (Jan. 24th 2026)
- The first batch of 18th pressing are opaque and have flecks of rainbow colours present in all pressings.
- The later batches the following year look brown/maroon, but if held to light reveal a clear red glow with black smoke.
- The 23rd pressing is a random colour 'Red Marble' variant and the copy I have is solid coloured.
Purple Vinyl
Twelfth Pressing (2017)
Eighteenth Pressing (Oct. 30th 2023)
The purple variants of Goddamnit are all fairly easy to distinguish from one another:
- The 11th pressing on Burgundy is opaque with red, blue, and white flecks all throughout. The colour is a deep bright purple, despite the red sounding name.
- The 12th pressing purple colours range from a very light purple to a deep dark purple. These are all opaque marble colours with flecks of other red and purple tones.
- The 18th pressing is a Dark Purple Marble with pink and black streaks. The most notable difference between this and the other purple variants is that this one has a black heart and skull vinyl label instead of clocks.
Golden Vinyl
Twenty-Third Pressing (Jan. 24th 2026)
The golden variants of Goddamnit released in the same year:
- The 9th pressing is translucent gold with black smoke
- The one included with the Past Live boxset is opaque gold/yellow with black smoke.
- The 23rd pressing is a random colour 'Orange Marble'. Very easy to distinguish from the other pressings by the black heart and skull vinyl label.
Maybe I'll Catch Fire
Black Vinyl
First Pressing (2000)
Second Pressing (2008)
Third Pressing (2012)
Fifth Pressing (2013)
Tenth Pressing
Eleventh Pressing (2020)
There are 8 black pressings of Maybe I'll Catch Fire. Here are the ways to tell them apart:
| Matchsticks on Back | Double Sided Glossy | Double Sided Matte | Single Sided Glossy | 180g | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
| 1st | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
| 2nd | ✓ | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ | ✓ |
| 3rd | ✓ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
| 5th | ✓ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
| 9th | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ |
| 10th | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | ✗ |
| 11th | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✓ | ✓ |
- The 1st pressings on black also feature one with orange vinyl labels, and one with black vinyl labels.
Clear Red Vinyl
The clear red pressings like very similar until you weigh them or see the inserts:
- The 2nd pressing is standard weight less than 180g, with a double sided matte insert.
- While the 8th pressing is 180g, with a single sided glossy insert.
Golden Vinyl
Second Pressing (2008)
Fourth Pressing (2012)
Fourteenth Pressing (Oct. 2021)
Side by side it's easy to tell these pressings apart but in photos by themselves they can look pretty similar:
- The 2nd pressing is a clear darker orange gold colour with a double sided matte insert.
- The 4th pressing is a clear yellow gold with a double sided glossy insert.
- The 14th pressing is a darker orange colour with a single sided glossy insert.
Orange Vinyl
First Pressing (2000)
Eighteenth Pressing (Aug. 1st 2023)
These orange marble pressings look very similar:
- The 1st pressing on orange marble has quite a bit of variance, but can always be identified by the lack of matchsticks beside the tracklisting on the back of the jacket.
- The 18th pressing has matchsticks on the back of the jacket, and comes with a double sided glossy insert.
Pink Vinyl
Seventh Pressing (2015)
Fifteenth Pressing (2022)
These 3 different pressings come in similar shades of pink.
- The 7th pressing on burgundy has a single sided glossy insert. It has lots of other colours mixed into the vinyl such as red, blue, white, and yellow.
- The 9th pressing random colours come in shades of pink and purple with single sided glossy inserts. These inserts are the only way to tell a 9th pressing from later 15th pressing without knowing when it was bought.
- The colours for the 15th pressing pinks are a lighter coral colour, and deeper pink that sometimes has bits of red visible.
- The 18th pressing had 237 copies intentionally pressed on pink, and most I've seen are a lighter pink marble.

- The 3rd pressing looks similar to the 2nd pressing, but the 3rd was released by Vagrant / BMG while the 2nd was released by Cobraside Distrubution. The vinyl labels are also matte instead of previous releases being glossy.
- The 4th is completely unique, as it is pressed on 10" vinyl instead of a regular 12" vinyl.
